Return Policy

Allen Medical Equipment Delivery

At Allen Medical Equipment Delivery, we are committed to delivering high-quality equipment quickly and safely. Due to the medical nature of our products, the following policies apply:


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are non-returnable once used or if packaging has been opened or altered:

  • Bathroom essentials
  • Non-electric mobility aids
  • Compression garments
  • Orthopedic products

Standard Return Policy

Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused and in new condition
  • In original packaging
  • Include all accessories and components
  • In resalable condition

Important:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Non-defective returns may be subject to a 30% restocking fee

High-Value Equipment Returns

The following in-stock items may be returned within 5 days of delivery:

  • Lift Chairs
  • Power Scooters
  • Wheelchairs
  • Hospital Beds
  • Respiratory Equipment

Conditions:

  • Must be in new, unused condition
  • Subject to a 30% restocking fee + pickup charges
  • Items showing wear, damage, or use are non-returnable

Ramp Returns

  • Ramps must be returned within 24 hours of delivery
  • Must be in original condition

Special Orders

  • All special order items are final sale and non-refundable
  • This applies regardless of circumstances, including unforeseen events

Rental Equipment Policy

For all rental equipment (including hospital beds, patient lifts, wheelchairs, power chairs, lift chairs, and oxygen concentrators):

  • Rental charges begin upon delivery and setup
  • No refunds for early returns
  • Special-order rentals are non-refundable
  • Charges continue until pickup is scheduled and completed

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Schedule timely pickup to avoid additional charges
  • Report defects immediately for repair or replacement

Liability:

  • Allen Medical Equipment Delivery is not liable for damages, injuries, or losses during rental use
  • Lost or stolen equipment will be billed at full retail value

Return Authorization (RMA Required)

  • All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
  • Returns without an approved RMA may be:
    • Refused, or
    • Accepted for store credit only, minus applicable fees

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued after inspection and approval of returned items
  • Credit card, PayPal, and Apple Pay refunds: 7–10 business days
  • Check refunds: 30–90 days

Defective or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a defective or incorrect item:

  • We will replace or repair the item promptly
  • Full refund of product and original shipping costs will be issued if applicable
  • A prepaid return shipping label will be provided

Customer Satisfaction Commitment

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.


Insurance & Financial Responsibility Policy

Insurance Authorization

By accepting delivery, you authorize Allen Medical Equipment Delivery to:

  • Submit insurance claims on your behalf
  • Receive payment directly from your insurance provider

Your signature confirms:

  • Receipt of equipment, or
  • Acknowledgment of pending delivery

Financial Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining any required pre-authorizations
  • Any charges not covered by insurance, including:
    • Deductibles
    • Co-payments
    • Co-insurance
    • Non-covered or non-medically necessary items

While we assist with claim submissions and appeals, final financial responsibility remains with the client.


Authorization to Release Information

You authorize the release of necessary medical and personal information required to process insurance claims.


Product Instructions & Warranty

All equipment includes:

  • Usage instructions
  • Safety guidelines
  • Maintenance recommendations
  • Warranty information

Each item is inspected prior to delivery to ensure safety and performance.


HIPAA & Privacy

We maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations. Privacy practices are available upon request.
